"Warning: These candys are chewy."
A woman in Michigan is suing Mars, Inc. (Starburst's maker) saying that chewing a starburst caused "temporal mandibular joint dysfunction." Apparently she took about three bites and her jaw locked up...now she has trouble chewing, talking, and sleeping.
Suprisingly, she's only suing for $25,000. She wants to make sure no one else suffers the same injury she did.
My question is how chewy is "chewy?" Additionally, would she have not eaten the candy if it said "Warning: this candy is chewy."
